Owls Poem

Owls are silent flyers
But their hoots are loud
My ear drums burst when they hoot away
Of their calls they are proud

Their feathers are long and sleek
They shine in the moonlight
Some are spotted and some are striped
They shimmer in the night

Their talons are long and deadly
Like daggers flying through the air
They silently pick up their prey
They are beyond compare

Barn Owls have a heart shaped face
Elf Owls are minuscule
Great Grays are huge
The Spotted Owl's eyes shimmer like a pool
